Oh for the love of a red suzani! A very quick post to share these pictures that I took today morning to welcome the latest addition to my suzani collection! With Diwali here, I’ve been sprucing up the home corner by corner and today when I was coming down the stairs, my heart just thrilled to this view of reds and greens- the pot/vase is pretty large and this bright, happy teal-green that is the same as the green in the suzani and paired together, it’s this lovely, joyous burst of color. When you ready your home for all the holidays that the latter part of the year brings, do consider using vintage fabrics to tie together disparate colors and to add a healthy dose of vibrant print and pattern to really wake up the space. This particular vintage suzani is from Uzbekistan. It’a curved wall, so I am still figuring out the artwork but I love it so far. What do you think? Do you use vintage fabrics in your home?
