The April issue of the OUATT magazine is in the works and I want to share a couple of pictures with you from this issue. There are two creative spaces featured- one is that of our new office (yay!) and the other is artist Pragati Sharma Mohanty’s studio. Have you seen her work? I was introduced to it last year when she wrote to me and I have to tell you I love it. It is colorful, spiritual and playful- the best combination for art, in my opinion. There are so many influences in her work, her childhood in India, her favorite books, her love for animals, to name just a few, and it’s futile to label her style. Without giving away too much of my article, I just want to share some of her art here. If you like what you see, head on over to her website or Facebook page to find out more. Do stay tuned for a complete studio tour as well a conversation with the artist in our next issue. I also bought one of her original works for our office and I am super happy to see it over my table – just wait for the April issue!
PS.If you have been reading OUATT for even a short amount of time, then you probably know the type of art I would be drawn to because I do tend to go on about it (!) What kind of art do you think I picked?
