Is everyone back from vacation? It’s so good to be back after the summer break because while I like summer, I l-o-v-e the second part of the year, that starts with August! Today’s first post is to introduce you to design brand Papersky. This design studio was founded in 2003 by Suvidha Arukia Gandhi and offered interior styling services. They have worked on both residential and commercial projects, and have been associated with brands such as the Taj Group of hotels, Good Earth and Sabyasachi. With Papersky Home, Suvidha has taken her considerable experience to design and make products for the home that are inspired by travel, love and family. Papersky Home is currently based out of Moscow and their first collection is titled Pagoda. Pagoda is inspired by Moscow and it’s changing color palette through the seasons. The prints are a mix of traditional and contemporary and the products are made out of cotton.
What I like most about this collection are the colors and the subtle prints. Sophisticated, dialed-down shades that capture seasonal colors without looking like everyone else; and prints that make it easy to layer and create a finished look. There are individual items as well as coordinated sets and you can find the entire collection at their website here.
