Naini Sidana / Home Tour/Collectivitea

Today’s tour comes from Chicago and is the home of Naini Sidana and her family. It is a carefully, curated edit that a) plays with earthy colors touched with golden overtones, b) mixes Asian and colonial influences with contemporary style and c) bears the owners’ vibrant personal stamp. There is no match-iness  and the eclectic collections come together to form a harmonious whole.

Naini was born and raised in Mumbai, India. After completing her MBA in Marketing, she pursued a career in Public Relations. In 1996 she got married and  moved with her husband to Australia and then the United States, finally settling in a suburb of Chicago. Always possessing a flair in design and decoration, she started designing friends’ homes in 2001, and hasn’t stopped since. She brings a unique style making a house a home with various elements , ranging from furniture to color. Her home is a true reflection of her passion. A warm welcoming space with Indian earthy tones and a collage of conversation pieces collected from all over India.

My favorite parts of the house are the gallery wall displays of eclectic art, photographs and prints. You can follow Naini on her Facebook page, Decor N More by Naini.

Wow what a gorgeous home! Naina Sidana’s sense of design and aesthetics is amazing. Love the understated pieces and earthly tones and it’s the un-matchiness is what brings extra charm to it!
