Do you know of Cardamom Collective? They are a US-based organization that works with artisans from around the world to bring us the most lovely, handmade products. The name itself is so romantic, and reminiscent of the lush green of tea plantations (why tea? well, because cardamom and chai are forever bound together in my mind), of terraced hills, of the lilting song of the plantation workers and of spice routes that connected distant corners of the world. For the latest issue of the ouatt magazine that’s out next week, I talked to Kelly Moe-Rosetto, the creative behind Cardamom Collective (CC) and our conversation (that you can hear in the magazine) ranged from what inspired the name (can you believe Sweden also figures in there?!) to her plans for CC and what success looks like. Be sure to visit Cardamom Collective to see their collection of textile products and especially the Indonesian and Pochampally ikats in moody blues! And don’t forget to become a newsletter subscriber, enjoy complimentary access to the ouatt magazine and listen to our radio conversation next week. *
*If you haven’t started reading and listening, well, you totally should! I maybe biased because it’s my baby but in the magazine, we feature very cool people who are doing amazing stuff. Even the newsletter is cool (yes, I know I am biased) because along with the information about new sellers, products and sales, we also share poetry, motivational quotes and behind the scenes news and happenings at Collectivitea.
