Workplace Inspiration/ Destination UnknownHello Saturday! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! It’s Saturday morning here as I type this, and I am enjoying my morning cup of tea. My plans for today include hosting a birthday party for my teenager,  a long walk in the woods, and spending time with family. Quiet, but much need relaxation. It may surprise you to know that I’ve actually had to learn to do this. As I set up Collectivitea over the last 1.5 years, I was working almost non-stop, through weekdays and weekends. I thought I had to because I was trying to reach a destination, and once I got there, I was going to take a break.  I wrote on the blog about how I was waiting to reach the destination, and could the journey please be over already?! Now, in hindsight, I can tell you that the destination we want to reach, whatever it is, a bigger house, better job, the holidays etc., is like a mirage. I might as well call it destination unknown, because it changes once you actually get to it. As if someone ran ahead and moved the goal post further away, and you are left trying again to reach another destination. The journey is the only important part. Yes, work hard, enjoy today, take that break, allow yourself to be refreshed, spend time in nature, go for that dinner with friends- the work will still be here when you come back. Have a wonderful day! – Priya
