Spring has sprung, and I hope your week, and season, is off to a great start! Last month, I finally learned what was for me a very big lesson- to start to let go of resistance. Like pretty much everything else in life, it’s a work in progress. I am learning to look closely at things to which I say ‘No’. Even when I want to accomplish certain results, I sometimes experience a resistance within me. A wanting to hold on to this or that solution as the only possible and acceptable outcomes. Or a feeling that something couldn’t possibly work out. How utterly limiting! No, we should not be irresponsible or careless. And no, we shouldn’t be hasty or take unnecessary risk. But let’s not be fearful of what we haven’t tried or what we don’t know. Instead, let’s be curious. Curious enough to explore the idea. And let the curiosity outweigh resistance. There are 3 quotes that come to mind when I write about this- Jack Canfield’s quote, “Everything you want is on the other side of fear”, Eleanor Roosevelt’s words, ..You must do the thing you think you cannot do” and lastly, my absolute, all-time favorite poem, James Wright’s A Blessing. Read it and the words will stay with you forever. Have a lovely day, my dears! – Priya
