Journaling/Collectivitea

Wednesday is over, which means the week is almost done. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the change of seasons. I thought I would share with you more excerpts from my journaling as writing and sharing has helped me clarify my thoughts. I hope it helps you too, because, well, we are all in this together. We all go through phases in our life when we experience an intense kind of mental growth, a mental growth spurt if you will, when we suddenly see how certain patterns repeat themselves in our life. Maybe we choose the same kind of people as friends (good or bad); maybe we make the same life decisions when faced with a certain set of choices, and that may have helped or sabotaged us. This growth then lets us see what we are doing right, and what we are doing wrong. Once you see it and recognize these patterns, it’s hard to un-see them. I feel like I have been through one of these phases in the last few years. Being in that phase was like all those quotes we read about journeys- the experience will change you, the path may be unclear, and you may arrive at a final destination that you didn’t plan on. Or you may find yourself changing the destination. Which pretty much means everything is up in the air! The only choice we have, drawn from all the lessons I have learned, is to live in and experience every moment. Do what we can today and let go of our need for control, and certainty. It allows us to flow, rather than constantly strive. Seems like these are lessons schools should be teaching in addition to language arts, science and math, right? I would love to hear from you! -Priya
