Gratitude Journal Hello Sunday night! Summer is here with a vengeance! Grateful for a weekend where I got some chores done + got to hang out at the Maker Faire. Any place with makers and creatives is going to be fun but get so many of them in one place and the energy is infectious and inspiring! I was reminded of this quote from Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic, “Do whatever brings you to life, then. Follow your own fascinations, obsessions, and compulsions. Trust them. Create whatever causes a revolution in your heart.” The makers at the fair definitely know this mantra. We walked around for hours on Sunday and my feet are sore, but it was so much fun! Also grateful this weekend for sun-dried sheets, salad and soup lunches, and a very clean house. But most of all today I am grateful for the healthy change in perspective this journal brings. If you haven’t tried it yet, I would definitely recommend maintaining a gratitude journal. In the last month, I have seen my focus shift from “I need this or that to be happy” to “There is so much to be happy about.” The shift has brought more calm and serenity, and lessened anxiety. To read the journal entries so far, click here. Have a wonderful start to your week! -Priya
