Gratitude PrayerHello. It was a lovely day, and a nice start to the week. I lined up more photography projects for later in the summer and by evening I was happy that I had an enjoyable and productive day. As it is for most of us, every day is busy, and by evening I’m also feeling a little fragile. Something (e.g. a thoughtless or unkind remark) that may not get under my skin at another time, may do so now. I then take a few minutes away- to close my eyes, breathe deeply, and to shift into a prayer of gratitude. Nothing formal, and each time the words differ. And slowly, I am ready to return to everything else. And that’s really what the crux of everything is, don’t you think? It’s easy to be grateful, but how do we continue to center ourselves and focus on gratitude when outside situations draw us into some drama? Today, I am grateful to have returned to center, And also for an awesome working lunch! Goodnight, and to read the gratitude journal entries so far, click here. Have a wonderful Tuesday! -Priya
