Hello Sunday and a very happy Mother’s Day to everyone! I am grateful for my two boys who are my world. They are smart, kind people, and I am honored to be their Mom. Being in the role of a mother is definitely one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have done. This Mother’s Day, let’s resolve to be respectful of the choices women make; whether it’s to have kids or not, whether they choose to work outside the home or at home, to name just a couple of the many choices; understand that they are making a decision that works for them. Let us, as women, be kinder to each other. Let’s never put the words ‘just a’ in front of stay-at-home mom. Let us also know that we are not trees, permanently rooted in the choices we make. Do what works for you, and if you change your mind, or the situation changes, feel free to make a different choice. Flow like a river, and remember Dr. Maya Angelou’s words, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.” I hope you had a wonderful day! – Priya
