Last day of Week 2, and only 50 more weeks to go! Because Day 14 of the 365-Day Creativity Challenge is the last day of this week, I thought we could do something a little different from the usual drawing or writing prompts. For today’s prompt, let’s try a 10-minute meditation exercise. There is growing research to show that meditation benefits us in many ways- by helping us relax, manage our stress, bringing more mindfulness to our day and focus to the work we do, by boosting our creativity, as well as a host of other long-term health benefits. There are many guided meditation apps (e.g. Headspace) that you can use or you can use the one at this link (scroll down for the meditation steps). Whatever meditation practice you use, choose to do it for at least 10 minutes today.
