Welcome to Day 36 of the 365-Day Creativity Challenge! It’s the middle of the week and at a busy time of the year, so I’ve kept today’s creative prompt short and simple. Draw a book that you’ve read that has had a profound impact on you. Maybe it fired up your imagination. Or emboldened your dreams. Lifted your hopes. Roiled your emotions. Changed your life. Made you believe in love. Changed your perspective on life forever, much like walking through a doorway and never being able to return. Any or all the above. Draw and color the book, and add details such as title, author, and maybe even a short description.
Day 36 Creative Exercise: Draw A Book. Write out what impact it had on you.
Go For It: They say everyone has a book inside them. What book will you write? Imagine, visualize, and draw the book you will write.
Just as a reminder, it really helps to have a dedicated journal or notebook because you will see a continuous record of your creativity expanding and changing as you devote time to it every day. You will also be creating a year’s worth of creative work. As you work through the prompts, write down other things that strike you because you may want to revisit these ideas. Have a wonderful day and I will see you tomorrow! To share what you are doing, please use the hashtag #ctea365 on social media and /or leave me a comment below. – Priya
